The Christmas season finds most of us amidst the hustle and bustle of holiday preparations, gift giving and spending time with family and friends. Creating a special gift bag or card will delight that someone special on your list. In creating these pieces, I thought about the smell of evergreens, and how the greens and reds of holly and berries bring warmth into our homes reminding us that winter will pass and spring will come again. As the bows are tied together, I’m reminded that we are all tied together with love during this special time of year.

Paint the design as a greeting card or repurpose the gift bag by weighting the bottom and placing a small plant for floral arrangement inside, making a nice centerpiece. Elements from this design can be used for gift boxes, candles or greeting cards. As you paint and create, let your imagination inspire you! Acrylic washes.
