Folk art tulips and flowers painted on a Black Plum background using transparent pigments to build depth and value give this design a wonderful warm glow. Design elements are adaptable to many different surfaces such as plates, a canvas candle wrap, ornaments, and placements. The design could be painted on paper for cards or gift backs and could even be done on watercolor paper using acrylic washes.
